When I turned 38, I tried to imagine what the absolute best gift to myself could be. It had to be something healthy. Something that would catalyze change in a big way. And since this was mid-lockdown, I was drinking a lot. I thought “wouldn’t it be amazing to gift myself one year of sobriety?” So I did. I decided that my gift on my following birthday would be exactly that, retroactively gifted. One year later I held that promise to myself. It completely changed my relationship with alcohol, and set me on a really healthy course, unlocking so many other positives in my life.
Time is an infinite tangle of threads ahead of us but only one behind us. But the one thread behind is observable. We can look back to a decision we made at a specific point that altered who we are in the present. There were small moments like the decision to take a walk outside or to eat the healthier of two options. And big moments like building a new habit or changing an old one.
All this to tell you I’m selling a 2025 calendar and I’m using my marketing genius to rebrand it as a time travel device. This calendar will change your life in the same way anything else will. Every little decision will resonate through time and you can always reach back to that moment you made a choice. Like a bad tattoo. Or a good one.
Take it as seriously or as unseriously as you’d like. My 2025 calendar comes in two flavours: Yaya & Boo, and Momo’s Face. What big change do you look back at in your life? What decision have made that you’re grateful for?
Hope you enjoy an abundance of black and white on your walls.
Thank you for your support,
Andrew, Yaya, & Boo
I thought that I had ordered the Momo calendar for 2025 but for some reason have not gotten it yet. If I have to reorder please let me know how I can do that. Thank you.
