My name is Andrew Knapp, and I started writing to explore my connection with dogs. I believe our lives are better when we bear witness to beautiful things and thread them into our identity. Dogs have given my life direction when I felt directionless. They continue to direct me and offer a deeper connection to and appreciation for the world around me.

I love the adventures that life brings and love capturing them with a camera. I’ve made a series of picture and kids’ books with my dog Momo (I should mention we were a New York Times Bestseller, right?), and continue to make books with my current dogs Yaya and Boo.
