Hi!!! This is the best news!! I just joined this newsletter yesterday to see if I could contact you to say our 18 month old is yaya’s biggest fan and would like more books :) What a great announcement to see this afternoon we are so excited!
I love these pics and can't wait to order the book. My suggestion for the next one is having Boo and Yaya visit places that are typically scary for children, like the hospital, the dentist, first day of school etc. They can tell stores that entertain and reassure children that everything will be okay.
SO EXCITED. Dying that your first is Richard Scarry inspired too. ❤️ We are big Where’s Momo, Yaya, & Boo fans—my 3 year old son, Pierce, especially. He would probably die and go to heaven to see Yaya and Boo with pirates, dinosaurs, or in a Halloween or Christmas themed book. Other ideas I think littles would approve could be an ABC book or the dogs + John Klassen collab (This is not my hat author), or maybe an Yaya & Boo meet friends (could be dogs or little fans. My son loves seeing what other little kids are up to.). Excited to see where you go with these! X
I’m happy for you, how exciting . I so dearly love Momo still and love seeing Yaya and Boo. My children are fur babies so I don’t really need children’s books but I would love pictures of the pups and stories of your life related to Christmas.
So excited to hear there are new books in the works. I give your books to every new mother I know and they always say they are their children’s favorites.
My 23 month old has loved your books since we discovered them several months ago. We have them all—board books and paperbacks. At least once a day, she says “Want Momo” or “Want Yaya & Boo,” and climbs on the couch to read/search. She loves finding the bonus hidden teddy bear on many of the pages. We’d love to see some more ‘bonus’ hidden elements in future books. She has also very recently taken to your Momo photography books and is actually quite good at still finding Momo in these gorgeous landscape shots! We can’t wait to buy the next 4.
This is such a great reference! Richard Scarry books were life as a child.
You could immerse yourself if the detailed images and be transformed to another place and time.
I'm 55 and one of my few childhood books that continues to move around the world with me is my Richard Scarry "Great Big Mystery Book". So great. Congrats on the new books!!!!
My kids love Magnatiles. If you don't know, these are the colorful magnetic shapes that can be used to build whatever, sort of like Legos but much larger, magnetic, and see-through hard plastic. My middle kid, who is 4, makes up elaborate worlds where the Magnatiles both are the structure of his world (the road, the hospital) and become the adventurers (the characters, the cars). Our Magnatiles travel around the house and experience peril. It would be a joy for my kids to see your dogs in a world of Magnatiles.
